After reading about furled leaders in various fishing magazines and forums I placed an order for some. When they arrived they looked ok, apart from very untidy shorb loops and it was obvious where all the reducing steps were.
I used them for a few outings but felt I could improve on the quality and workmanship so I made my own.
I added my own variation of reducing steps and I was extremely pleased with the end result. I progressed into various weights and lengths, then onto high visibility tips or butts. My friends liked them, so I made some for them and thereafter, friends of friends.
I now sell them all over Europe and nowadays I don’t get much chance to fish as I am too busy making furled leaders. 🙂
